To adopt an event is to decide as an individual, group, or congregation to promote a Pathways event, get people excited to attend and encourage people to register.  The goal of adopting an event is to increase the attendance and make it a success. 

Why is it important to adopt an event?
1. By working closely with Pathways' staff, you can help us reach out to more people in northwestern Minnesota.
2. And...have you ever registered for a Pathways event only to have it be cancelled? We know how frustrating it can be to plan for an event only to find out there’s not enough people registered by the registration deadline. You can help us prevent the cancelling of events.

How can you adopt an event?
1. Contact the Pathways office to let us know which event you would like to adopt, who your contact person is, and how many people you are committing to bring to the event.
2. Advertise the event heavily at your church and in your community with information Pathways supplies (flyers, brochures, registration forms, etc.)
3. Motivate people to get their registration forms in by the event deadline (typically two weeks before).
